If you haven’t started over at least five times, you’re not doing it right.
Domain. WordPress. Hosting. Email address. Social media accounts. It all needed to be started quickly. My lunch hour at my corporate job was the perfect place to start this.
But it needed to be anonymous.
First name: Anxious
Last name: Moms
Brilliant!
Google: Are you sure you wanna do this?
Me: uh, yes?
And then fear. So much fear!
Me: NO! GODDAMNIT NOOOOO!
Google: too late.
That was the moment my anxious moms email somehow got tied to my corporate email in Google Docs and my first and last name changed to Anxious Moms and everyone in my department could see it. What. Have. I. Done!?! This is the furthest from anonymous.
Sheesh. I can’t even do this anonymous thing right.
Abort mission. Close all tabs. Delete all emails tied to account. And close the door on my dream.
Luckily, six months later, I decided what the hell. Opened all the tabs, created new emails and here I am, starting over.
Welcome to Anxious Moms.
It’s a bitch being anonymous. And anxious.
